Your Comfort Matters!

Dental Hygiene | Strathcona Dental Clinic | General & Family Dentist | South Edmonton

Before a tooth is removed, your Strathcona Dental Clinic team will talk to you about the procedure and any concerns you may have. Based on that information, we will determine whether an anesthetic alone or the addition of sedatives is required. During the procedure, we will make sure you are comfortable every step of the way, so your experience is the best it can be. It is not uncommon to experience some minimal discomfort right when the freezing wears off. Ibuprofen or acetaminophen is recommended at that time. Swelling and bleeding is usually very minimal, but your dentist can tell you what to expect in your specific situation.

To speed up healing, you may wish to opt for a treatment that uses your own blood to speed healing and reduce pain.

Strathcona Dental Clinic invites you to contact us at (780) 433-1154 for a dental check-up/exam to determine if you might require tooth extraction and/or if you wish to consider healing treatment after your extraction.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
